MOU signed between Siung Films and Wind Rose at Annecy

Memorandum of Agreement Malaysia’s Siung Film Productions and France’s Windrose formalised a collaboration on Anavau, a series rooted in Kadazan folklore. Created by Jo Luping and supported by MDEC and SCENIC, the project brings together local talent and studios to celebrate Sabah’s culture and stories. At Annecy, MDEC reaffirmed our commitment to driving Southeast Asia’s digital growth through Malaysia. We’ve invited international delegations to join the upcoming ASEAN Digital Content Summit & Kre8tif! this September, while also promoting the Kuching Animation & Games Festival 2026.
