"The Owl and the Rainbow" made the cut for Kōpere Hou
Very excited to have been selected for round two of the NZ Film Commission funding for our short film The Owl and the Rainbow. Thankful to be working with the talented Lynda Chanwai-Earle, who has taken a short story I wrote based on a Kadazan legend and turned it into a powerful contemporary screenplay, with the ever supportive Antony Guscott, a creative Producer who gives great notes! And the intuitive DOP Jess Charlton. Of the 12 finalists (who were selected from 117 applications) three of the projects are from PASC (Pan Asian Screen Collective) filmmakers.
